Patamon Nisabodee Thai, b. 1988
Patamon Nisabodee is a Thai artist and cultural entrepreneur based in Bangkok. Her practice explores the relationships between materiality, organic artisanal processes, and a sense of place, often approaching art through an intimate and process-driven lens.
Working across drawing, installation, craft-based processes, and public art, her practice is often rooted in experimentation and making, drawing from natural materials, craft processes, and site-specific contexts. Through tactile and process-driven approaches, she considers how art can transform ordinary encounters into spaces for reflection, connection, and renewed ways of experiencing one's surroundings.
Her works have been presented in Thailand and internationally, including “The Memorable Wave from Nippon Maru” (2026), exhibited onboard the Nippon Maru in Bangkok port, Bangkok Design Week (2024), Awakening Bangkok (2018–2019), Chiang Mai Design Week (2018) and the International Year of Planet Earth global launch at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris (2008).
Alongside her artistic practice, Nisabodee works across contemporary art, cultural programming, and creative entrepreneurship. Her experience includes public art and design discourse, international cultural exchange, and jury participation. She was invited to serve as a returning international judge for UNKNOWN ASIA in Osaka, recognising innovative and cross-cultural creativity across Asia.
Her practice continues to evolve through an interest in material sensitivity, experimentation, and the relationships between art, people, place, and the wider cultural landscape.
