Patamon Nisabodee Thai, b. 1988
Patamon Nisabodee is a Thai artist, curator, and cultural entrepreneur based in Bangkok. Her practice explores the relationship between material, place, memory, and the fleeting nature of human experience, often approaching art through an intimate and process-driven lens.
Her current practice centres on artisanal hand-related creation process. She explores its strength, translucency, texture, and distinctive living surface. Each work is made by hand, allowing the material itself to carry traces of process, place, and time connecting the physical qualities of handmade art with the landscape and natural origins of the materials.
Alongside her artistic practice, Patamon is the founder and director of Saratta Space, an independent contemporary art platform in Bangkok, where she works across exhibitions, artist development, cultural programming, and creative collaborations. Her practice is closely connected to her ongoing engagement with artists, materials, and the broader contemporary art ecosystem in Thailand and Asia.
