Nattakorn Choonhavan Thai, b. 1989
Graduated in Bachelor of Business at Holmes Institute in Melbourne, Australia, Nattakorn Choonhavan determinedly sought for imaginative inspirations that had driven him to establish his own brand ‘Middle M’. By studying in Melbourne, the city filled with visual arts, he was deeply motivated by the ideas and concept behind the artistic pieces. Since graduating, Nattakorn moved back to permanently live in Thailand to start ‘Middle M’. Yet he usually found visions for his creations through travelling to different towns where local jewelries and their history fascinated him. Middle M first founded as an artistic jewelry line where its design was influenced by ancient adornments and primitive myths. With uses of unique charm stones and intentional marks caused by his handcraft process, Middle M Jewelry attempted to interweave history, mythology and philosophy together into a small sculptural piece. Middle M’s current designs are the simplification of such concept with an easy-to-wear appearance.
ณัฏฐกรม์ ชุณหะวัณ สำเร็จการศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีสาขาธุรกิจจาก Holmes Institute ในเมืองเมลเบิร์น ประเทศออสเตรเลีย เพราะเมืองเมลเบิร์นเป็นเมืองที่เต็มไปด้วยศิลปะ วัฒนธรรม และสไตล์ของคนที่มีเอกลักษณ์ เขาจึงได้รับแรงบันดาลใจมากมายทั้งด้านการออกแบบ และแนวคิดทางงานศิลปะ
หลังจากเรียนจบณัฏฐกรม์ก็ย้ายกลับมาอยู่ประเทศไทย และต่อมาเริ่มต้นธุรกิจเครื่องประดับ Middle M เขามักจะได้รับอิทธิพลในการออกแบบผ่านการเดินทางไปยังเมืองต่างๆ ซึ่งมีเครื่องประดับท้องถิ่น และประวัติศาสตร์ที่ต่างกันไป
Middle M ในช่วงแรกๆ ได้รับแรงบันดาลใจจากเครื่องประดับโบราณ และตำนานต่างๆ ซึ่งมีการใช้หิน และอัญมณีเป็นวัสดุหลักๆ และมีเอกลักษณ์ของแบรนด์คือการทิ้งร่องรอยของการทำด้วยมือเอาไว้ ตั้งแต่เริ่มณัฏฐกรม์ได้พยายามที่จะผสมผสานประวัติศาสตร์ ตำนาน และปรัชญาไว้ในเครื่องประดับทุกชิ้น ส่วนการออกแบบในปัจจุบันของ Middle M เป็นการปรับแนวคิดดังกล่าวให้เรียบง่ายขึ้นด้วยรูปลักษณ์ที่สวมใส่ง่ายแต่ยังคงไว้ซึ่งเอกลักษณ์ของแบรนด์เสมอ
